Cyrus Zal (born with the name Bahman Zarnegar) is a sole practitioner in Folsom, California. Cyrus first started practicing law in California in 1981 at a law firm in Beverly Hills. Cyrus has had his own law firm in Folsom since 1989. Cyrus and his staff speak Farsi, the language of Iran.

Cyrus was born in Iran and came to America when he was 4 years old, attended Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia, and graduated in 1966. Cyrus went on to attend the University of California at Berkeley, where he graduated in 1971 with Distinction in General Scholarship and was elected to the Honor Society of Phi Beta Kappa. Cyrus attended law school at the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he received his Juris Doctor Degree in 1974.

Cyrus was in Iran practicing in an American law firm in 1978 when the Iranian Revolution took place. Cyrus returned to America and resumed the practice of law in Beverly Hills, California in 1981 and was admitted to the California Bar in 1982.

Cyrus Zal was a recipient of the 1993 Knights of Columbus Chico County Precious Life Award for his pro-life work.
